Velum Shorts

A bold, second-skin silhouette designed to blur the line between garment, body adornment, lingerie, and performance wear.

The Velum Shorts are crafted from exceptionally soft, elastic recycled mesh and printed with surreal organic forms that appear suspended somewhere between root systems, skeletal structures, and imagined creatures. Across the fabric, abstract arachnid-like motifs emerge beside watchful eyes and sprawling branch-like formations, giving the piece an otherworldly, almost hallucinatory quality.

Exposed red overlocked stitching traces the contours of the body, emphasising the deconstructed construction and adding contrast against the translucent mesh.

The layered strap construction wraps around the waist and upper thighs, creating a silhouette that feels simultaneously delicate and confrontational. The result is intentionally bold, while still remaining surprisingly wearable when styled with tonal or skin-coloured underlayers, as pictured here.

To preserve the integrity of the mesh and exposed detailing, we recommend cold hand washing or delicate washing inside a garment bag, followed by air drying.
